Organized by Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute
http://ow.ly/pVMEH11/28/2013 - 11/30/2013
University of Ballarat, Australia
The Australia-China Workshop on Optimization was first initiated and organised by Prof. Alex Rubinov in 2004. This workshop series has been successfully held for 5 times in China and Australia and the next one will be held during 28-30 November 2013 at the University of Ballarat which will be jointly organised by the University of Ballarat, Chongqing Normal University and Shanghai University.
The workshop aims to bring together experts from Australia, China, the Pacific region and around the world in the area of optimization theory, methods and applications. It will provide an opportunity for meeting and exchanging recent research findings and discussion on possible collaboration and joint projects.
The topics of the workshop include all areas of optimization, optimal control and their applications and will include but not be limited to:
– Nonlinear programming
– Global optimization
– Nonsmooth optimization
– Stochastic programming and dynamic programming
– Multi-objective optimization
– Equilibrium problems
– Integer programming
– Combination optimization
– Optimal control
– Constrained programming
– Applications:
– Electricity
– Water
– Data mining
– Energy sector
– Transport
